The Gropius in Chicago Coalition is proud to welcome two new supporting organizations at this critical time, e-architect and EcoGreen Plus.

Based in the United Kingdom and covering architecture matters worldwide, e-architect is one of the world’s leading web sites devoted to architecture.  The sites operated by e-architect ltd. receive 26,000 unique visitors per day and 560,000 hits. 

Not generally a preservation concern, e-architect carefully picks the issues which it thinks are relevant and important.  We are grateful that the Gropius work at the Michael Reese Hospital Campus has attracted their attention.

e-architect has posted a page about Michael Reese Hospital, indicating its support and discussing the loss of the Friend Convalescent Home.  The site is already helping to raise significant awareness about the Reese issue worldwide.

EcoGreen Plusis a company based in California that produces a unique, environmentally friendly photocatalytic paint product.  The paint, enriched with titanium dioxide, reacts with sunlight to help cleanse pollutants in the atmosphere. 

EcoGreen Plus is a supporter of green development, and recognizes that the existing buildings at Michael Reese Hospital can be reused as a part of an environmentally friendly development.
