What can I do to help save Michael Reese Hospital and the Chicago legacy of Walter Gropius?

  1. Become a part of the Gropius in Chicago Coalition.
  2. The Coalition is actively seeking the support of organizations and individuals.  We are not requesting financial support.  All we ask is that you contact us to lend your name to the growing list of Supporters.  Your name will not be used in any fashion except in the manner you see on this site.

Please also consider asking others you know to do the same.  We welcome the support of anyone who cares about this issue, the history and future of Chicago, or simply great architecture.

  3. Sign Up for updates from our newsletter.
Our newsletter contains the most up-to-date information relating to the campaign to save Michael Reese Hospital. Keep abreast of the latest developments by signing-up. You can opt out at any time.

The easiest way to receive our newsletter is to follow the “Subscribe Now” link at the side of this page, which will share our newsletter with any RSS news reader. If you prefer to receive e-mail updates, please e-mail us and we will add you to the list.

  4. Contact public officals to voice your support.
  5. Letters from the public are critical to demonstrate the importance of Michael Reese Hospital and Walter Gropius.
